COVID-19 Policy

The health and safety of all VisionCon participants is absolutely paramount to us. With the assistance of the Springfield EXPO Center staff, we will be employing measures to provide a clean, hygienic environment for our event. Understand that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19. All persons present at VisionCon, including but not limited to, attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers, contractors and staff voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

That said, in accordance with recent CDC guidelines regarding community levels, we strongly encourage attendees to follow the prevention steps listed below:

• If you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions.
• Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines.
• Get tested if you have symptoms.
• DO NOT attend VisionCon if you are unwell. We want to see you next year!
• Respect the bubble. Do not crowd each other. Be mindful of your proximity to others.
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
• Make use of hand sanitizer before and after engaging with our exhibitors, other con-goers, and guests.

These guidelines are subject to change, should our county level change, or in the event updated CDC or Greene County Health Department guidance/regulations are published.
