Jewel Staite

Jewel Staite starred as 'Raquel' in the CW series "The L.A. Complex", which premiered in the Spring of 2012. Prior to that, she was seen starring in the Hallmark Channel telefilm "Call Me Mrs. Miracle" opposite Doris Roberts. This premiere was the highest rated Hallmark Channel telecast of the year. Prior to that, Jewel was seen as 'Dr. Keller' in the SyFy Channel hit series "Stargate:Atlantis". Her stellar work has earned her rave reviews, as well as recognition from The Gemini Awards (Canada's prestigious equivalent of our Emmy) with a nomination for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role' in 2008. This was followed up with a nomination from the Leo Awards in 2009 for 'Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series'.

At the age of six, Jewel began studying at the Vancouver Youth Theatre where she trained several days a week for several years. This hard work paid off when she booked the lead role in the Disney Channel series "Flash Forward" with Ben Foster. Her performance earned her a nomination from The Gemini Awards for 'Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series', as well as a nomination for the Canadian Television Film and Showcase Award.

Jewel made her 2005 feature film debut in Universal Pictures "Serenity", Joss Whedon's adaptation of the FOX science fiction television series "Firefly," of which Jewel was a series regular. Jewel played the ship’s mechanic 'Kaylee', a sweet, happy and sensual farm girl who loves life and is a genius at fixing anything.

Additionally, Jewel has several TV series under her belt including Fox Family's "Higher Ground" with Hayden Christensen, a recurring role on the highly praised FOX series "Wonderfalls", NBC's "Just Deal" and Nickelodeon's "Space Cases." Her MOW credits are just as impressive, with starring roles opposite James Brolin and Natasha Henstridge in Lifetime's "Widow on the Hill", Showtime's "Damaged Care" opposite Laura Dern, as well as SyFy’s “Mothman” and "Doomsday Prophecy." Some guest appearances include the CW’s “Supernatural”, her memorable role in the Showtime pilot "Huff" with Hank Azaria and Oliver Platt, Syfy's "Warehouse 13”, as well as Showtime's "Dead Like Me" opposite Ellen Muth and Rebecca Gayheart, and FOX's "The X-Files" opposite David Duchovny.

Timothy Chiasson

As a 22 year veteran of the United States Army Military Police Corps, (SFC RETIRED) Timothy Chiasson, began his art career in 2007. Timothy was picked up by AT-Products out of Linden, New Jersey ( for his artwork of military Themed pieces, which covered people, vehicles, and aircraft leading him to be the companies number one artist 3 quarters in a row his first year. Over the course of ten years while working with military themed art, Mr. Chiasson, grew a name for himself, which provided him the ability to sell artwork worldwide. His name was well known within the military community where he designed Challenge Coins, Combat patches, Battalion, and Company level themed art pieces. Mr. Chiasson, currently has various works of art on display at the Fort Leonard Wood Military Museum, which is located on Fort Leonard Wood. During his service, he has supported many events by donating personal funds and original artwork to help various charities in the Springfield and Branson, MO area.

After he retired in August 2016, Timothy continued working with his art and was picked up by Robotech, Harmony Gold, USA Inc. as a licensed Fan Artist. He has only just started his new path in March of 2018, and has already had several pieces shown on various Robotech related sites. In his own words for his artwork that covers Robotech, "It's for the fans, by a fan!"

Margie Vizcarra Cox

Margie Vizcarra Cox is an actress, model, costume designer, entrepreneur, children's charity coordinator, and professional geek based in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelors in Art from the University of South Florida in 2006. Since then, she's worked for the Georgia Aquarium as a costume designer. She's modeled for legendary comic artist George Perez' Huntress in DC Comics New 52 World's Finest and is now the model for a main character in Perez' new series with BOOM! Studios Sirens. Cox first gained national recognition as a costume designer and model when she placed in Wizard Magazine's costume contest with her home-made Star Sapphire costume. Since then her photos have gone viral on the internet and have given her international recognition. Her interviews have been translated several different languages and featured in Uno (The Philippines), X-Box (Brazil), Mundo dos Super-Herois (Brazil), and Previews Magazine (International) to name a few.

Of the costumes she's made, she's probably most well known for her Wonder Woman in which she does most of her charity work. For eight years Cox has been involved with Heroes Alliance, an organization whose mission is to bring a real life superhero experience to children who are medically fragile or have special needs. She's currently the Atlanta Branch Leader of Heroes Alliance and it's her favorite part of costuming.

This year, Cox launched her Etsy Store ThatChicGeekBoutique which has been very successful. There she designs and sells geeky kitchenware, clothing, and personal accessories. She's also been studying to be an actor for a few years. She lives with her husband and two dogs in their home in Atlanta.

Michael Cox

Michael Cox is a superhero cosplayer from Atlanta, GA. He, along with his wife Margie Cox, have worked with the superhero costume charity group, Heroes Alliance, since its early days nearly ten years ago and have served in various leadership roles in the group. While he's more recognized for The Flash, Cyclops, and Green Lantern, he also plays Giant-Man on the Avengers Assemble! web series and regularly directs large superhero photo shoots at Dragon Con.
